If you are bringing a phone number from another provider into your FirstDirect360 sub-account, this guide will walk you through exactly what you need to submit so our team can process the port for you.
Porting allows us to work with your current phone carrier to transfer your number into your FirstDirect360 account. This process typically takes 2–4 weeks. You will receive progress updates by email.
Note: At this time, we can port phone numbers from U.S.-based carriers only.
For international porting assistance, please email support@firstdirectmarketing.com for additional information.
What You Need Before You Begin
To start your port request, please gather:
Letter of Authorization (LOA) — completed and signed
Most recent phone bill from your current carrier (PDF format)
Full details for any wireless numbers, including account number + PIN
Location Name of the account you want the number assigned to
All phone numbers you want to port (landline, toll-free, and wireless)
Step 1 — Download & Complete the Letter of Authorization (LOA)
Download the LOA attached at the bottom of this article.
Click on File → Download
Fill out the PDF completely and accurately
Include all phone numbers you want to port
Sign the form
The details on your LOA must match your billing statement and your current carrier’s records to avoid delays.
Step 2 — Get Your Most Recent Phone Bill
You must include a PDF of your most recent phone bill from your current provider.
This is required for verification and must:
Be a PDF
Be under 4MB
Match the information listed in your LOA
If you’re porting numbers from multiple carriers, attach a bill for each one.
Step 3 — Email Your Port Request to Our Team
Once your LOA is completed and you have your billing statement:
Send an email to: support@firstdirectmarketing.com
Email Requirements:
Subject Line: Phone Number Port Request – [Your Business Name]
Attach your completed and signed LOA (PDF)
Attach your recent billing statement(s) (PDF)
You do not need to include any additional details in the email. All necessary information is already inside the LOA.
Important Notes About Wireless Numbers
Wireless numbers require a correct PIN
Incorrect or placeholder PINs will result in rejection
If your provider uses one PIN for multiple numbers, note that clearly in the LOA
Landline or toll-free numbers may not require a PIN (depends on provider)
Step 4 — Processing Timeline
Once your request is received:
Porting usually takes 2–4 weeks
You must keep your current service active until the port completes
You may experience SMS delivery delays for up to 3 business days after the port
You’ll receive status updates at the email address listed in your account.
